Responsibilities Job duties include:
Planning, executing and supervising the full scope of audit and accounting engagements for a variety of non-profit organizations
Preparing and analyzing various financial statements up through performing technical review
Primary liaison between the client, Supervisor, and Manager or Director
Staying compliant with pronouncements of professional and other regulatory groups
Mentoring of new staff on assignments, while simultaneously performing efficiently on engagements
Preparation of tax returns for nonprofits and varying entities is a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
3-5 years accounting experience in an audit or accounting environment with emphasis on nonprofit auditing
Client relations skills
Working knowledge of nonprofit audit compliance
Ability to travel to same-day work at client locations
Ability to work independently
Working knowledge of ProSystems software, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office and other programs related to accounting and auditing
