If you join our team, you should expect to work directly with businesses and their owners in a variety of industries providing accounting for income taxes, entity choice, corporate taxation, and pass through entity taxation. You'll assist with training and implementing QuickBooks solutions for business clients, complete tax planning and research, prepare federal, state, and local business and personal tax returns, and do business year end work and adjusting journal entries.
We expect you to be able to work effectively with our team, stay motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have strong computer skills, with QuickBooks and UltraTax software experience.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Develop tax strategies that align with client goals while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Review and analyze financial statements to identify tax implications and opportunities for savings. Provide guidance on tax-related issues, including audits, disputes, and planning. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for accurate tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients. Assist clients with accounting software, and accounting software training. Mentor and train junior staff members in tax-related processes and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong QuickBooks experience and skills. Desire to work in a team driven environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
