a Controller, MSR
to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and the Group President, the Controller, MSR oversees accounting and financial reporting for the MSR portfolio, collaborates with valuation firms, manages a team of accounting professionals, and ensures compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing cash flows, lender draws, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls, disbursements, payroll, audits, and consolidation reports. The role involves process development, control enhancement, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent certification 10+ years’ experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting 5+ years’ experience in mortgage banking industry accounting Experience with financial modeling and MSR valuations Experience with audits, controls, and process optimization Familiarity with MSP platform (highly preferred) Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills Leadership skills including talent development and performance management Ability to manage change and work in a fast-paced environment Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and compliance orientation Self-directed with professional integrity Submit Your Resume to Learn More Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance Disability, Pet Insurance 401k with Employer Match Paid Time Off and Holidays Wellness Programs, Employee Assistance Hybrid Work Schedule with Remote Flex Days Compensation: Annual salary range: $144,200 - $180,000 Eligible for discretionary bonus Fay Cares!
