$90.00/yr - $90.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Insite US . Join a dynamic and growing CPA firm in the NYC metro area as a Senior Tax Associate. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who’s ready to take ownership of client engagements, lead tax preparation and planning efforts, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. What You’ll Do Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts Lead client engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services Offer strategic tax planning and identify opportunities for savings and compliance improvements Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and helping them grow professionally Research complex tax issues and stay informed on changes in tax laws, especially in New York and surrounding states Respond to federal and state tax notices and coordinate with clients as needed Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted advice What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred) CPA license required 3–5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and planning Solid knowledge of federal and NY State tax laws and regulations Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities A self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines and work independently or within a team What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with employer matching Paid time off, holidays, and personal days Professional development support, including CPE and training Clear path for career advancement Hybrid/remote flexibility depending on experience and performance Seniority level
