A premier private equity firm is looking for a driven Senior Accountant eager to make an impact within its innovative accounting and finance team.
Overview Responsibilities
Perform daily cash reconciliations and prepare monthly bank account reconciliations.
Oversee accounts receivable operations.
Coordinate monthly expense submissions and review/approve expense reports.
Support the transition to improved spend management platforms and reporting systems.
Develop scalable financial processes and automation within accounting platforms.
Ensure accurate quarterly expense submissions and allocations across entities.
Prepare and issue quarterly expense invoices to related business units.
Manage journal entries, general ledger activity, and monthly/quarterly closings.
Coordinate tax compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions with external advisors.
Support financial reporting, capital account statements, and ad hoc reporting.
Collaborate with the finance team on cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting (financial services or related industry preferred).
Familiarity with fund structures, management company accounting, and inter-entity allocations is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, systems, and reporting.
Demonstrated ability or interest in using AI tools, automation, and financial platforms to optimize workflows.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Education and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Ramp, Bill.com, and Expensify is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
