Location: Nutley, New Jersey Hours: 30 per week Base pay range: $24.25/hr - $32.50/hr TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Job Description

The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison that is integral to delivering TD’s Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist Customers with their banking solutions/needs. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help Customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD.

Depth & Scope Proficient in products, services and routine transactions to educate customers on Bank products and services or refer them to the appropriate team member while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Broad knowledge of the full product suite, services and processes of the business area with low to moderate complexity/risk.

Establishes and nurtures customer relationships by listening to needs and offering solutions or referrals.

Makes product recommendations based on customer needs and highlights features/benefits to save time and money and exceed needs.

Uses customer relationship management tools to identify solutions and lead-focused outbound activities; independently resolves issues and escalates when necessary.

Builds working relationships with customers and explains detailed information.

Participates in customer outreach, servicing and advisory activities to deliver service commitments.

Engages in conversations about loan products and facilitates application intake.

Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (where applicable).

Education & Experience HS Diploma or GED

1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity or equivalent demonstrated by volunteering, education, or military experience (preferred).

Teller experience preferred

Must be able to complete teller training upon hire to handle customer transactions

Demonstrated ability to engage customers while educating them on products/services

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Notary License (Preferred)

Shareholder Accountabilities: Ensure compliance with Bank policies and risk controls; support operational excellence and proper documentation.

Employee/Team Accountabilities: Collaborate with team, share knowledge, participate in performance development, and contribute to an inclusive culture.

OCC Language: Complies with mortgage and loan originator regulations as applicable; eligible for required registrations.
