Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Focus on the needs of others by listening, understanding, and showing empathy and respect. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents. Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork and processes. Maintain model apartments in touring condition and orient prospective and current residents to the property. Process renewal paperwork and ensure documentation is delivered monthly. Maintain accurate traffic activity records in the computer. Follow up with prospective residents via phone, mail or email. Convert phone traffic into scheduled tours. Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance. Create and maintain confidential resident files and review move-in paperwork with new residents. Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure all open and close procedures are done daily. Assist with resident relations and respond to requests promptly and accurately. Research competitive properties. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; alert maintenance to repairs. Assist with work order processing and ensure timely completion. Provide clerical support to management (phones, filing, processing invoices) and assist with planning resident activities to increase retention. Comply with company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable laws. Perform other duties as assigned. Education And Experience
High school diploma is required. Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred. One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred. Skills And Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English. Proficiency with general office equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle difficult situations calmly. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance. Must comply with safety requirements.
