Job Description YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive strong sales results. You represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.
Your Responsibilities
You have a passion for driving sales: as a key LOD, drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience. Help Store Leadership maximize business opportunities to drive KPI results.
You're a people leader: motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values. Model leadership and hold associates accountable to AEO’s service standards on the Salesfloor and in the fitting room.
Talent and training: recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs. Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
Teamwork and coaching: set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates; provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching; motivate and celebrate outstanding performance.
Visual and operational execution: implement daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards; ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
Integrity and safety: maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow AEO policies and procedures, and act with integrity.
