Executive-Level Strategic Revenue Leadership: Own and execute the most critical territory and account plans, consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets and annual quotas by architecting and closing large-scale platform sales within highly focused, strategic accounts. Precision Forecasting & Pipeline Mastery: Lead with unparalleled accuracy in forecasting and demonstrate complete mastery of proactive pipeline management. Provide visionary insights and strategic guidance that shapes the direction of the sales organization. Enterprise Architecture & Business Model Expertise: Exhibit an expert-level understanding of customer Enterprise Architecture across all four pillars (business, data, applications, technology), mapping these to customer business models and articulating how Cloudflare fits into a modern cloud operating model. C-Suite Engagement & Executive Sponsorship: Lead and orchestrate complex customer engagements across numerous business units, applying and managing executive sponsorship programs with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs. Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Drive and lead highly complex virtual teams that include product managers, VPs, and SVPs to manage and close the most strategic opportunities. Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks to ensure efficient delivery. Digital Transformation Visionary: Serve as Cloudflare's leading voice on digital transformation, engaging with customers on their key drivers for change and opportunities to position Cloudflare within broader market trends. Organizational Communication & Feedback: Craft clear messaging across departments and global locations, review performance, and provide feedback to enhance organizational performance. Long-Term Strategic Impact: Articulate how decisions will impact Cloudflare in the long term and balance short-term gains with lasting value. Define Goals & Drive Efficiency: Help define quarterly team goals and metrics, understand interdependencies, and proactively address roadblocks to achieve results efficiently. Company-Wide Innovation & Problem Solving: Address internal and external needs, drive urgency, challenge the status quo, and foster innovation across the organization. Inclusive Leadership & Future-Proofing: Lead with diverse perspectives to address today’s needs and future challenges for Cloudflare. Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
10+ years of expert-level experience selling complex, multi-million dollar technology solutions in a B2B enterprise model with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing transformative platform deals. Deep knowledge of Cloudflare product suite and the broader security landscape, with the ability to educate customers and partners at an expert level. Mastery of Customer Enterprise Architecture (Business, Data, Applications, Technology) and the ability to map Cloudflare solutions to complex business models and modern cloud environments. Proven ability to manage executive sponsorship programs and engage CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs effectively. Experience leading virtual teams (VPs/SVPs) to manage and close strategic opportunities. Strong expertise in digital transformation, market trends, and positioning Cloudflare as a strategic partner. Exceptional strategic communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for senior audiences. Long-term, vision-driven leadership that balances immediate results with sustained growth. Ability to define team goals, drive cross-department efficiency, and proactively address roadblocks. Leadership that encourages diverse perspectives and drives positive change. Proficiency in advanced sales and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, G-Suite, MS Office, MEDDPICC). Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree highly preferred. Ability to travel extensively to engage with customers and internal teams. Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. Estimated annual salary range: $320,000 - $350,000 (base/variable). This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan. Equity
