Join Hearst Connecticut Media Group as a Strategic Account Executive. Help deliver impactful media campaigns for our customers using our advertising solutions, audience reach, and history of success. The role focuses on developing and managing a sales pipeline, building new business relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs. Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Prospect local medium to large sized businesses to demonstrate the value of our digital media products (Native content, social media, display, CTV/OTT, programmatic, SEO/SEM) and traditional advertising. Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and prospecting. Own the sales cycle with support from the local Customer Success team for post-sale care. Product Expertise: Become an expert on digital and traditional products/services. Undergo global and local training during the first weeks and receive ongoing support to grow as an Account Executive. Execute Sales Tactics: Implement marketing strategies and deliver compelling sales presentations to earn, retain, and grow revenue. Advertising Solutions: Create engaging advertising solutions to meet clients’ business needs. Client Solutions: Recommend new products and opportunities to current clients and handle objections to boost client success across multiple digital channels. Forecasting: Manage the client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce. What will it take to be successful?

Education: BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience. Experience: 4+ years of B2B sales in advertising & media with a proven track record, ability to navigate decision-making processes, success in new business acquisition, and strategic selling across organizations and agencies. Skills: Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills; technically savvy with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint. Mindset: Goal-oriented, competitive, and forward-thinking with strong business and financial acumen. What we offer
