Identify and analyze new Government Account opportunities that create value and represent long term growth, and own assigned Government Accounts to develop growth strategies that differentiate in order to drive public sector growth. Prepare, structure, and successfully negotiate new business proposals and integrate contractual requirements within the business operating system to ensure compliance and execution. Meet with all stakeholder communities connected to the success of each Government Account. Provide forward-looking communication to the broader commercial sales organization to ensure strategic alignment and adherence to contractual terms across the channel. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure company-level engagement for each Government Account. Communicate progress toward business development milestones and government growth to company management. Attend meetings to promote strategic capabilities and drive contract uptake across the market. Lead the development and implementation of key government and public sector presentations. Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual and other financial metrics that are aligned to the Annual Operating Plan. Work daily in the SalesForce CRM system to ensure data accuracy with the commercial pipeline, contacts, activities, and other information. Complete all monthly reporting, pipeline, and forecasting requirements. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline required; MBA preferred Experience: 3 or more years of experience in business development and strategic-level relationships, or other relevant experience Must have exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and leadership skills Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SalesForce Compensation and Benefits
Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range is a general guide only and is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
