Rainbow Ecoscience As a Regional Sales Manager for Rainbow Ecoscience (a division of Rainbow Companies), you will provide strategic leadership to a regional sales team, driving execution of revenue plans and performance metrics across assigned territories. This role involves direct leadership and mangement of Rainbow Ecoscience Sales Territory Managers, including coaching, performance management, and alignment with organizational objectives. This role will require up to 50% travel and is open to candidates who reside within 50 miles of a major airport. Salary details:

Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000

(Determined compensation will be dependant upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and other relevant factors) 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) Company and opportunities for advancement within Rainbow Companies.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new business and retain existing customers.

Training, Coaching and Mentorship of Rainbow Ecoscience Sales Territory Managers (TMs): Provide regular coaching and training to help team members develop their sales skills, discovery, and buying conversations; spend time in the field doing ride-alongs with TMs to observe and train on actual sales conversations and actions with clients/prospects.

Market Expansion and Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and support TMs in acquiring new clients.

Monitoring, Analyzing Performance and Accountability: Set performance benchmarks and hold the team accountable for results.

Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent: Identify and recruit high-performing salespeople aligned with team needs and Rainbow Companies values; foster a positive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years of sales management/sales leadership experience supervising sales professionals and teams

Bachelor of Science degree in business, sales management, or organizational leadership

OR a BS in a green industry major such as horticulture, turfgrass science, forestry/urban forestry, landscape management or a related plant science/agriculture field.

Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of direct sales experience in the green industry (tree care and/or landscape maintenance) preferred.

3+ years of B2B sales experience as a distributor or manufacturer sales representative.

Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to work outside and walk through commercial and residential landscapes while exposed to heat and cold. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must always be followed, including the use of PPE and other safety equipment. You must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
