Overview
Eastern Great Lakes Sales Territory Manager role at Rainbow Ecoscience. The primary responsibility is to identify plant health care clients in the green industry. This position covers Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky and partners with commercial tree care and landscape maintenance companies, municipalities, and other organizations that manage insects, diseases, and plant health of trees and shrubs. Responsibilities include educating, proposing, and closing sales to existing clients and cultivating new customers. This is a remote, full-time position that requires travel up to 50% within the territory. What You Will Do
Generate leads and deliver meaningful sales demonstrations to help clients grow their plant health care business with Rainbow products, protocols, and application equipment. Attend and speak at local conferences, meetings, and industry events to build relationships with key influencers in the Tree Care and Landscape Maintenance industry. Follow the sales process to ensure clients are communicated with frequently and effectively to optimize opportunities. Provide top-tier customer service with a consultative selling approach to create a positive client experience. Identify new and existing opportunities to grow accounts and develop new business. Document and regularly update customer information, sales workflows, and activities in the CRM (Acumatica). Develop and maintain a working prospect list for the territory. Meet or exceed the aligned sales goals for the territory. Minimum Qualifications
Industry sales experience in the tree care and/or landscape maintenance industry is preferred. Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, Urban Forestry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent practical experience. Valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications
Business-to-Business sales experience as a distributor or manufacturer sales representative. What We Offer
