Responsibilities
Handle the day-to-day account management that ensures successful customer orders; provide quotes, process purchase orders, and respond to customer needs.
Prepare quotes, fulfill orders, ensure on-time delivery, and respond to client issues by reviewing pricing, quote terms, and delivery.
Maintain orders by managing backlog and open order reports in our system and customer portals; track and follow up on the quote log and open orders.
Function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers; respond to, process, and document requests for quotes (RFQs); assist the field sales team with business development.
Provide excellent customer service while offering account management for both new and existing customer accounts.
Qualifications
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong email communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, be detail-oriented, prioritize multiple tasks, be a self-starter and collaborative, and have excellent critical thinking skills
