(base + commission). This range is provided by Mid-States Bolt & Screw; your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Location: Ludington, Muskegon, Norton Shores, Grand Rapids area. There is NO CAP on commission!

Responsibilities

Sell goods & services for industrial distributor to businesses or groups of individuals. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold. Representative is assigned to a specific region or territory. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms. Obtain credit information about prospective customers. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports. Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Train customers' employees to operate and maintain new equipment. Assist the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects. Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.
