National Account Manager – Southeast Region

to lead growth and account management across key national and regional retail partners in the Southeast U.S. This role will own customer relationships, drive sales initiatives, and execute strategic plans across large-format and emerging accounts. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the CPG space, excels at managing complex retail partnerships, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities Own and grow relationships with national and regional accounts in the Southeast U.S., with a focus on driving revenue and distribution. Lead annual planning, promotional execution, and joint business planning with key retail partners. Identify white space opportunities across existing accounts and new strategic partners. Forecast and manage sales volume, promotional lift, and trade spend in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Field Sales) to align on priorities, product launches, and promotional planning. Serve as the voice of the customer internally—advocating for key account needs and partnering with cross-functional leaders to remove barriers to growth. Coordinate with the field team to ensure flawless execution at the store level. Insights & Strategy: Analyze retail performance using syndicated data and customer POS to identify trends, gaps, and strategic actions. Present performance updates, opportunity analyses, and promotional results internally and externally. Stay informed on category, channel, and competitive trends—providing insights that inform Wip’s growth strategy. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 8+ years of experience in CPG sales or account management, preferably with national and/or regional retailers. Deep knowledge of retailer dynamics in the Southeast U.S., particularly within natural, conventional, and/or mass channels. Track record of owning account P&Ls, building customer relationships, and driving revenue. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in syndicated data tools (e.g., SPINS, Nielsen, IRI) and retailer portals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel 30–50% as needed across the Southeast U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Existing relationships with key accounts Experience in emerging brands or fast-growth environments. Comfort operating with autonomy in a lean, fast-paced culture. Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 annual salary plus performance-based bonus, with consideration for the number of years of experience.
