National Account Manager

Naterra International, Inc. We are looking for a National Account Manager in our sales organization to support accounts within our portfolio and seek new business development. On the Naterra Sales Team you will own and influence the relationship with retailers like Walmart, Target, Ulta and Amazon, and collaborate on assortment, data analysis, and the development of omnichannel promotional and marketing strategies. Responsibilities
Responsible for building partnerships and facilitating a superior customer experience by ensuring alignment and execution against mutually agreed upon goals and business plans for Naterra, Retail Partners, and Broker/Distributors.
Understand multiple retailers go-to-market strategies and adapt strategies and solutions as required.
Provide ongoing tracking, analysis, and measurement of business trends and growth opportunities to optimize product mix and inventory levels.
Resolve customer service issues and build strong relationships.
Manage and deliver against P&L targets to achieve financial objectives.
Support strategic planning through collaboration with all buying teams for assigned accounts.
Forecast shipment and consumption patterns aligned to Naterra’s fiscal planning calendar and retailer plans.
Manage and analyze trade funds to drive the business within the expense budget.
Develop promotional strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
Utilize data and insights for line reviews and quarterly business reviews with internal teams and retail customers.
Attend retailer meetings and trade shows as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5-7 years in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry in Sales, Demand Planning, Category Management, or Customer/Account Management.
Bachelor’s Degree
Analytic mindset and curiosity about the business.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a track record of resolving complex issues.
Knowledge and understanding of the CPG industry.
Experience working with a P&L scorecard and tracking trade spend.
Proven customer management experience with responsibility for customer strategy and execution.
Excellent knowledge of sales analysis and metrics including retailer POS systems and syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, Tableau).
Critical thinking and ability to translate data into a compelling sales story.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell a cohesive, fact-based sales story.
