Research Reagent Sales Specialist, Flow Cytometry role at

Responsibilities include acquiring new customers, developing early-stage accounts, and converting competitive business to expand BD’s market share. Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and manage a defined sales budget within your assigned territory. Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing early-stage accounts. Expand flow cytometry reagent reach into Pharma, Biotech, CROs, and incubators. Convert competitive business and expand BD’s footprint in the research reagent space. Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets by increasing product usage and customer base, utilizing business analytics tools to guide decision-making. Manage territory activities using Salesforce.com, including contact management, pricing, and quotation requests. Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions and sales activities. Expected field presence 3–4 days per week. Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners through regular communication, joint field visits, and strategic collaboration. Deliver consultative support to customers, aligning BD solutions with their research needs. Build and maintain a robust short- and long-term sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation. Identify emerging opportunities and strategically position BD’s reagent portfolio to meet evolving customer demands. Partner with BD Biosciences colleagues across Sales, Service, and Applications Support to deliver integrated, customer-focused solutions. Share insights and collaborate on territory strategies to maximize impact. Perform other related tasks and assignments as needed to support business objectives and team success. Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, ideally Biology or other Medical/Life Sciences-related field. Laboratory experience in flow cytometry. A valid driver’s license. Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Proven selling and negotiation skills. Strongly Preferred

Familiarity with Life Science Research and Pharma/Biotech/Academic accounts. Sales or customer service experience. Flow Cytometry knowledge and working experience highly preferred. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving business environment and consistently meet customer needs. Familiarity working with distribution partners. Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Proficiency in digital tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, and Power BI. Work Arrangement & Compliance
