Our growing firm is seeking a well-qualified senior attorney who can handle a heavy caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. To be considered, you should have solid trial experience and be willing to mentor our newer associates. Your excellent communication and writing skills will come in handy as you thoughtfully position clients toward favorable outcomes. Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree) Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills Work independently while handling a heavy caseload At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations 7 - 10 years of experience as a litigation attorney for business, construction, or real estate litigation At least 10 jury trials as first chair or leading attorney Compensation
$205,000 per year
