Join as a Multi-Unit Team Leader to provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll apply your people-management experience to lead customer-centric teams, accelerate seasonal tax business, and drive growth across multiple offices. This role is not remote and requires in-person work. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, with evening and weekend hours as needed. Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and manage the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information to tax office associates, and create associate work schedules across all offices. Ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for associates in all offices; travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Qualifications / Your Expertise
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates. Ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Nice to Have

Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including local partnerships and community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training, coaching, and recognizing contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to associates. Coordinate scheduling and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management across offices. Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and various benefit programs. Pay Range: $15.00 - $40.00/Hr
