This role is designed to operate and continue to build a program that measures and advises on the security posture of Blackstone’s global portfolio of companies. Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, you will own relationships with business unit leaders and company executives to drive cyber improvements throughout the portfolio and advise on investments. As a trusted advisor you will lead crisis response efforts, cyber due diligence, and share knowledge about the portfolio program and its methodology. Communicate effectively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Use our methodology to drive measurable cyber improvements across sections of the portfolio. Counsel and share knowledge about our methodology with senior executives and peers. Lead through crisis situations with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Assess and articulate cybersecurity risk as part of investment due diligence. Provide opinion/subject matter expertise on investment opportunities in cybersecurity companies. Assess, interview, and advise companies across all industries about cybersecurity practices. Perform briefings about cybersecurity best practices to company leadership and technical teams. Interface with third parties to drive ongoing cybersecurity initiatives across the portfolio. Use business intelligence tools to create reporting and maintain metrics using collected data. Own and drive select program functions and collaborate with teammates as assigned. Related Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a mix of hands-on and advisory/leadership cyber roles. Broad subject-matter experience and ability to discuss cybersecurity across technical and strategic domains. Demonstrated success executing multiple initiatives with strong time management and comfort navigating uncertainty. Ability and desire to mentor clients and junior team members. Incident response experience in technical, consultative, or leadership capacities. Prior consultative/internal experience with senior technical and non-technical executives. Ability to manipulate data with business intelligence tools (SQL and Tableau). Strong understanding of data modeling; scripting or coding experience a plus. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work and propose improvements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field; M.S. a plus. Additional Information

$200,000 - $250,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including the individual’s experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
