As a Retirement Plan Specialist, you play a vital role in designing and managing plans that support long-term goals, ensure fiduciary compliance, and deliver value to both clients and participants. Your expertise directly contributes to client satisfaction, retention, and the overall growth of our wealth management services.
Responsibilities
Serve as a 3(21) or 3(38) fiduciary and manage investment lineups for 401(k) plans.
Design, consult on, and amend retirement plan structures to align with client goals.
Support participant education, plan enrollment, and ongoing compliance efforts.
Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects to meet individual and team sales targets.
Collaborate with TPAs and recordkeepers to deliver cost-effective, compliant plan solutions.
Stay current on market, regulatory, and economic trends to provide accurate guidance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of retirement plan experience.
Series 7, 65, and 63 licenses, with appropriate state insurance licenses.
Proficiency with financial analysis tools, CRM systems (preferably Redtail), Microsoft Office, and emerging AI tools used in financial services.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex financial concepts.
Ethical conduct and clean U-4/U-5 history; valid driver’s license required.
Total Rewards Package Compensation:
$75,000 to $150,000 annual salary based on demonstrated sales experience and measurable achievements.
