Member Service Counselor – Registry responsibilities include providing sales and service to members in the areas of membership, reservations, and other branch products and services both in-person and over the phone. In select states, provide registry services and ensure compliance with state regulations. The Member Service Counselor will achieve assigned standards for sales and referrals, recommend club products and services, and embody club mission and value statements with all interactions. Core Hours: Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:15pm; 40-hours per week. At least 2 Saturdays per month 8:45am-1:15pm; when working a Saturday, an alternative full or 1/2 day off during the Monday-Friday workweek may be provided. Member Service: Develop comprehensive knowledge of products and services. Promote memberships (upgrades, auto-renewal, digital membership), AAA credit card program, business line referrals, and other club initiatives. Make changes on existing memberships and assist members with issues. Deliver accurate and timely information on club products/services; support club partnerships (e.g., Registry Services, TSA). In select locations: provide registry and/or TSA services, including handling confidential documents, inputting data into databases, and processing license/ID renewals and registration renewals. Review applications for completeness in person and by phone, in compliance with laws and standards. Assist members with accommodations and points of interest (mapping, routing, and possible hotel/car reservations). Promote International/InterAmerican driving permits, passport photos, foreign currency, tickets, and other club products. Sales: Consistently meet or exceed member satisfaction scores and related goals. Educate members on benefits and KPIs using the five-diamond process and cross-selling techniques. Stay up to date on promotions and branch initiatives; identify opportunities to improve branch performance. Daily Operations: Act as a liaison with other departments to coordinate information for members and department issues; follow department policies and safety protocols. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Experience: Customer Service with a focus in Sales Required Licenses and Certifications: State and federal background checks required; must meet state-specific requirements to perform registry & TSA services; background checks as applicable EEO: AAA Northeast is an equal opportunity employer.
