Overview

Sales and Service Counselor - Registry (55713) at AAA Northeast. This role provides sales and service to members in the areas of membership, reservations, and other branch products and services, both in-person and over the phone. In select states, registry services are provided with compliance to state regulations. The Member Service Counselor achieves assigned standards for sales and referrals and embodies the club mission and value statements in all interactions. Work schedule:

Monday–Friday 8:45am–5:15pm; 40 hours per week. At least 2 Saturdays per month 8:45am–1:15pm; when working a Saturday, you can take a full or 1/2 day off during the Monday–Friday workweek. Member Service: Develop comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and services; promote memberships (including upgrades and auto-renewal), digital membership, the AAA credit card program, business line referrals, and other club initiatives. Update existing memberships and assist members with issues. Provide accurate and timely information on club products/services; maintain department standards for in-person and phone servicing and support partnerships (e.g., Registry Services, TSA). Registry/TSA services (in select locations): handle/process confidential documents, input information into databases, and review applications for completeness in person and over the phone in compliance with laws and standards (licenses/IDs, registrations). Member assistance for accommodations and points of interest (mapping, routing, hotel and car reservations). Promote International/InterAmerican driving permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets, entertainment tickets, and other club products. Sales: meet or exceed minimum member satisfaction scores and related goals; educate members on benefits and KPIs, using cross-selling techniques and department training while maintaining a positive member experience. Stay up to date on branch promotions and initiatives; identify opportunities to improve overall branch performance. Daily Operations: liaise with Travel, Insurance, Membership, Finance, IT, and Member Relations and coordinate information for member or department issues; perform duties per department policies and safety protocols. Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required Experience:

Customer Service with a focus in Sales Required Licenses and Certifications:

Must satisfactorily pass state-specific and federal background checks during pre- and post-hiring processes.
