You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. Responsibilities
Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation
Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
Qualifications
Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued
Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
Computer proficiency is essential
Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history
Outstanding academic credentials
Self-starter, driven by long-term career goals
Superior oral and written advocacy skills
Team oriented
Compensation $70,000-$135,000 per year + bonuses
