Cyber Security Specialist

will help support our threat intelligence strategy and operations, oversee brand and executive protection initiatives, and conduct advanced OSINT investigations. You’ll apply your expertise in cyber threat intelligence, publicly available information (PAI), and digital investigations to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to our people, assets, and digital presence. You will translate intelligence into actionable insights to shape enterprise-wide security strategies and support executive-level risk mitigation. What you’ll do

Determine changes in the threat landscape, track cyber threat actors and campaigns, and provide recommendations relevant to our tech stack to reduce risk and threat exposure, with context and prioritization for teams. Make strategic observations about future cyber and fraud trends to improve detection and tactical response. Conduct investigations with attribution focus using OSINT, social media research, and publicly available information. Develop strategies and plans for threat intelligence collection to address gaps, including required tools and methodologies. Streamline processes and workflows to increase efficiency. Analyze security and abuse incidents to derive insight into attack vectors and TTPs. Maintain a threat intelligence workflow, playbooks, ticketing, and standard threat intelligence metrics and reporting. Assist in designing and supporting threat intelligence strategy aligned with organizational risk priorities. Oversee brand and executive protection operations, including monitoring for impersonation threats, doxxing, reputational risks, and targeted harassment. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and align threat intelligence with objectives and evolving threats. Who you are

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security. A dual major/specialization in Human Behavior and Psychology or Corporate Communications and Journalism with IT/Cyber Security is preferred. Minimum four years in Information Technology or at least two years in Cyber Security. Certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence, GIAC Open Source Intelligence, CTIA, or Mandiant are a plus. Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and other threat intelligence frameworks and tools. Excellent writing skills and ability to tailor investigative reports to the audience. Ability to analyze complex data sets with high accuracy and manage multiple investigations with competing priorities. Strong judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Proficient in Cyber Risk Communications; able to present technical topics to non-technical audiences and engage executives. Effective cross-team communication and stakeholder relationship building. The anticipated annual base salary is provided for New York; actual base salary depends on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. New York Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000 USD.
