Overview
Sales Consultant - Paramount Off Premise - Convenience (Arlington) at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. This is a full-time role within a leading beverage distributor focused on delivering consultative sales to customers and driving revenue growth. Salary: $44,000 per year plus incentives and auto allowance/reimbursement. Final offer will reflect candidate education, skills, and experience. Primary Responsibilities
Visit accounts regularly to build positive, credible customer relationships based on trust Discover and identify customer business growth needs Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales Analyze data and insights to increase sales and achieve objectives Pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM (Proof) Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer growth plan Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively in accounts Propose selling solutions using consultative selling techniques Meet internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management Handle customer issue resolution and identify additional opportunities to support growth Adapt selling approaches to each customer’s buying style and needs Stay current on competitive offerings and position SGWS products accordingly Document and maintain account- and customer-specific information in CRM (Proof) Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required Minimum Qualifications
21 years or older Ability to analyze and understand data Ability to use SGWS technology to perform duties Ability to structure customer presentations and product proposals Proficient with mobile devices and online communication Proven track record of achieving results and providing high level of service Effective communication skills and ability to tailor messages to the audience Comfort with ambiguity and openness to change Team player; able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain auto liability insurance per SGWS requirements High School Diploma or GED required Able to travel as needed Physical Demands
Sitting and typing on computer or mobile device for extended periods Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping Driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours May lift/carry/push/pull up to 56 lbs This position is safety-sensitive.
