Overview
Clinical Pharmacist position in a Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit setting. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care and reduce costs. May supervise department staff in coordination with the Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care and support cost containment. Provide clinical services to patients and professional staff; interact with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment. May assist in supervising the activities of all department employees in consultation with the Department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager. Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist. Pharmacy Sterile Product certification (through an in-house program or other accredited program if appropriate). Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Residency Training: PGY2 residency required to be considered. Employment details
