Transportation Systems Analyst
to join our team!
Located at 1978 Thomas E. Keller Blvd., Defiance, OH 43512. Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Job Overview:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for all facets related to the transportation systems ecosystem, including maintenance, optimization of tools, technical support, problem resolution, training, and implementation, with a specific focus on trucking and freight brokerage operations. What you'll be doing: Manages assigned projects and change requests by gathering requirements, conducting user needs analysis, designing solutions, preparing functional specs, and configuring systems Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, create/maintain runbooks, and drive problem-management fixes that prevent recurrence Acts as liaison among vendors, technical teams, and business users to develop and finalize test plans Updates system documentation following changes or enhancements Delivers workshops, trainings, and supporting materials Develops and maintains project and operational documentation Creates and executes test scripts; participates in post-implementation reviews for process improvement Monitors timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure targets are met Ensures adherence to change management and quality assurance processes Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and communicates effectively with teams and managers Coordinates with vendors for enhancement requests, manages upgrade implementations, and keeps business units informed of impacts Facilitate working sessions with Transportation/Brokerage teams; map current/future processes; write clear BRDs/FRDs and user stories with testable criteria Identify automation and process-simplification opportunities; propose and deliver small wins that reduce clicks, errors, and cycle time What we're looking for: 3–5 years hands-on experience administering and configuring a TMS for asset-based trucking and/or brokerage Strong business analysis fundamentals: requirements elicitation, process mapping, writing functional specs, and building UAT test cases/scripts Organized, deadline-driven project execution with the ability to juggle multiple requests and stakeholders Clear written and verbal communication; confident delivering end-user training and producing SOPs/playbooks Working conditions: Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment Limited travel required Keller Logistics Group is an equal opportunity employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
