This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solution Architect with a Data & GenAI background to enable new capabilities for our customers to deploy GenAI workloads on AWS. You are responsible for the technology, strategy, and senior level relationships with strategic and/or fast-growing Independent Software Vendors (ISV). The Partner Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating, and driving, the technical strategy with assigned ISV partners, taking the lead on go-to-market products built-on and/or integrated with AWS. Collaborating with your partners, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. Key job responsibilities include: Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs. Develop solutions that make the best use of the AWS services like AWS EC2, EKS, ECS, SageMaker and other computing platform for GenAI practice. Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure partner success. Exhibit Thought Leadership by evangelizing AWS Services and ISV solutions that benefit customers. Act as technical liaison between partners and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS developers and accelerating the adoption of new features in customer deployments. Provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to builder considering or already using AWS. Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architecture community. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable them to be cloud advocates. Act as a technical liaison between partners, service engineering teams, and support. Be able to develop proof-of-concepts for solutions involving AWS services. Driving product integrations between partner products and AWS services Proving thought leadership in the form of publishing blog posts, public speaking, white papers and reference architectures A day in the life includes: Meeting partner product managers and engineering teams to talk about blockers or get feedback about ongoing build activities. Building and testing a Proof of Concept (PoC) or create a code sample. Writing a blog post or white paper. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience Recent and demonstrable hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads.
