Sr. Partner Solution Architect, GenAI - Technology Partners COE, Tech COE Overview Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solution Architect with a Data & GenAI background to enable new capabilities for customers to deploy GenAI workloads on AWS. You will be responsible for the technology, strategy, and senior-level relationships with strategic and/or fast-growing Independent Software Vendors (ISV). This position can be located in Austin, Seattle, or Arlington (DC) and requires travel of at least 30%, including international travel.

Key responsibilities

Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs.

Develop solutions that leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, ECS, SageMaker) for GenAI practice.

Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure partner success.

Evangelize AWS services and ISV solutions, sharing best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking events.

Act as a technical liaison between partners and AWS service engineering, providing product feedback and accelerating feature adoption.

Provide training sessions to builders using AWS, and transfer knowledge to the AWS solutions architecture community.

Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable cloud advocacy.

Develop proof-of-concepts for solutions involving AWS services and drive product integrations between partner products and AWS services.

Day in the life

Meet with partner product managers and engineering teams to discuss blockers and gather feedback on ongoing build activities.

Build and test PoCs or create code samples.

Write blogs or white papers and stay current with technical market developments.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.

10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Recent hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.

Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.

Experience working with end user or developer communities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. This position offers a base pay range of $138,200 – $239,000/year depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation options may be available as part of a total compensation package.
