Job Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned professional to take the lead in our 401(k) Retirement Plan Services division. This is both a leadership and growth-oriented role, perfect for someone who thrives on building client relationships while shaping a division’s long-term success. The right person will guide current clients, attract new business, and play a key role in setting the vision for how we deliver retirement plan services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and grow the retirement plan services division, balancing client care with business development. Build lasting connections with plan sponsors, executives, and other decision-makers. Provide guidance on plan design, investment choices, fiduciary duties, compliance, and governance. Stay on top of ERISA and DOL updates, and bring insights to client meetings and reviews. Partner with firm leadership to improve operations and strengthen our brand presence. Lead the RFP process, including benchmarking and plan evaluations. Maintain all required licenses and professional standards for the division. Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration, and top-tier client service.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience advising on 401(k) or 403(b) plans. Preferred designations include AIF, CRPS, QKA, QPFC (CFP, CPA, or advanced tax credentials are a plus). Current Series 7, 66, and insurance licenses, or the ability to obtain them shortly after joining. Deep knowledge of retirement plan structures, fiduciary responsibilities, and daily operations. Familiarity with platforms such as RPAG or similar tools. Demonstrated success in bringing in new clients and nurturing long-term relationships. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Integrity, drive, and a collaborative mindset.
