Highmark Health Job Description : JOB SUMMARY CANDIDATE MUST BE US Citizen, Onshore (due to contractual/access requirements) Pittsburgh Location Requirement If the candidate is within 50 miles of either the Pgh or Camp Hill campuses then they are expected to be in the office on Tue/Wed/Thu – otherwise they will be fully remote. This role supports analytical aspects of the application product life cycle, including capability enablement with cross-team dependencies. The analyst collaborates with customers to understand capability needs, gather project specifications, create business cases and cost analyses, translate high-level business needs into detailed requirements for new capabilities and change requests, analyze data to identify problems or opportunities, create and execute test cases, provide root cause analysis and corrective action plans, verify delivery of customer needs, and ensure quality delivery. The role also identifies, documents, and resolves risks, defects, and issues. It analyzes market trends for competitive insight and mentors junior analysts. It leads project teams or acts as SME on moderately complex projects with potential regulatory risk, customer service and financial impacts. Acts as the face to the customer and resolves very complex issues across multiple systems while understanding regulatory risk and business impacts. Requires advanced understanding of how changes impact end-to-end processes and multiple systems. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Take a lead role with customers, Software Engineers, Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions on complex issues. Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements, testing plan, testing schedule, testing scenarios, testing outcomes, user task analysis, wire framing, usability testing, personalization to different clients, and user interface design. Participate in the full software development life cycle by actively taking a lead role on agile scrum teams in various roles, including Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, User Interface designer, Capability Manager, or Tester, based on experience and need. Provide required business and/or subject matter expertise for project and production activities on complex issues, including new strategic programs or initiatives impacting current and existing systems. Ensure compliance for required standards and approvals throughout the project lifecycle. Interface with business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value and innovation, including cost-benefit analysis and evaluating solution options. Lead requirements testing activities (testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to minimize production defects and analyze results in relation to customer impacts. Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners and management, conduct requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, report project status, support vendor solutions, and provide concise documentation. Provide thought leadership and strategic direction in Product and Technology Solutions. Other duties as assigned. Pay Range Minimum: $67,500.00 Pay Range Maximum: $126,000.00 Note: Base pay is determined by qualifications, experience, and internal considerations.
