Develop cloud architectures, frameworks, standards, governance, and policies for the organization. Engage with business users and other technology teams to understand and assess requirements and develop multi/hybrid cloud architectures for implementation by engineering teams. Augment cloud engineering skills or guide engineers as needed. Maintain on-premises knowledge due to interactions with cloud resources and migrations. Advance Infrastructure-as-Code practices within the organization. Document architectural designs (Microsoft Visio), cloud governance frameworks, cloud standards, and implementation guides. Design scalable, resilient, cost-optimized, and secure cloud solutions aligned with business needs and cybersecurity policies. Assess applications for cloud suitability and develop migration roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Server, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Finance, Procurement) and translate complex concepts for business stakeholders. Qualifications
AWS: 4-6 years of experience; strong proficiency in designing architectures, standards, and governance for AWS; expert in multi-account AWS Organization management. Oracle OCI: 1-2 years Cloud Security: 2-3 years; familiarity with security best practices (IAM, RBAC, WAF, Security Groups, NACLs, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Secrets Manager) and zero-trust concepts. Deep understanding of cloud platforms, services, frameworks, governance; experience with hybrid and multi-cloud interoperability and on-prem to cloud integrations. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi; experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). Automation: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet; configuration management. Security & Compliance: cloud security practices, regulatory alignment (RTO/RPO), SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Chronicle) a plus. Performance Optimization & Cost Management: FinOps practices; use of Cost Explorer, Savings Plans; monitoring with CloudWatch. Networking: VPC design (Hub & Spoke, Transit Gateway, Peering), Load Balancers, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid networking; CDN optimization (CloudFront, Global Accelerator, Cloudflare, Akamai). Troubleshooting: cloud infrastructure, networking issues; monitoring and root-cause analysis. Communication: ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. About V Group Inc.
