Oracle CC&B Rates Implementation Engineer - Oracle As an Implementation Engineer specializing in CC&B, C2M, CCS, or other CIS platforms, you will model and deploy utility rates to support end-consumer centric programs. Responsibilities include designing and configuring rate rules, performing config migrations, integrating with internal systems via APIs, and testing end-to-end workflows. This role requires hands-on experience with CIS system configurations, scripting, automation setup, and validating rate calculations across integrated systems. Responsibilities
Modeling utility rates and implementing Oracle Rate Cloud Service/CCS/C2M systems to handle medium to complex billing calculations. Collaborate with utilities to replicate rate configurations with Rate Cloud Service/CCS to generate cost insights offered through various SaaS solutions. Write custom scripts to support bulk configurations and/or automation. Validate and troubleshoot rate calculations across integrated systems. Provide leadership to implementation teams by promoting consistency across rate implementations, including methodology, deliverable templates, and custom solutions. Develop key relationships within Oracle by providing field feedback to R&D and supporting product and sales teams. Promote and encourage the use of reusable collateral and accelerators. Facilitate knowledge sharing across peer groups. Work with product and engineering teams to integrate Oracle Rate Cloud Service rates with Opower solutions, and verify/validate rates within the Opower infrastructure. Qualifications
5+ years of relevant professional experience, including consulting and enterprise system implementations. Hands-on experience in rates modeling and implementation for electric, gas, or water utilities, in-house or as a consultant. Working knowledge of CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) or C2M (Customer to Meter) preferred. Familiarity with utility business models and operational challenges related to rate modeling and bill generation. Strong experience with relational databases for configuration, debugging, and data migrations. Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and basic technical skills (scripting, software testing, techno-functional capabilities). Experience writing effective SQL or Hive queries. Experience with Unix/Linux command-line, including advanced file searches and text manipulation. Experience with migrating rate configurations between systems. Ability to adapt to change and craft solutions using information from multiple sources. Quick learner with a growth mindset and interest in long-term career development within Oracle. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field strongly preferred. Compensation and Benefits
US: Hiring Range in USD from $87,000 to $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to reflect knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, locations, products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed within the range based on factors including peer equity.
