As a member of a cross-functional team, perform semi-skilled production machine operations to assemble/fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team goals. Ensure smooth launch and ongoing performance of painted products. Operate manual and/or machine processes requiring in-depth knowledge of the process and constant monitoring. Ensure product and process quality and efficiency through inspection and continuous improvement problem solving. Make machine adjustments and manage several variables within the process. Maintain procedures and standards to ensure compliance with quality standards for the assigned area. Perform basic preventative maintenance and moderately complex machine setups. Maintain material movement systems and complete proper paperwork and documentation to guide team operations. What We Are Looking For / Qualifications
Minimum five years’ experience in paint engineering; or equivalent. Experience with mixing and curing processes and equipment, spray guns, pumping equipment, etc. Strong understanding of application equipment in relation to solvent blends, paint mixing, temperature, humidity, and other factors critical to job performance. Experience with color measurement and proportioning equipment, two-component mixing, application and curing processes on plastic and metal substrates. Technically current in the product development field. Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for the assigned area. Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of color measurement, mixing and curing processes, and related equipment. What We Offer
