Overview
HDR is seeking qualified individuals to provide project, geographic and technical leadership in our dam, levee and flood resilience programs. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked in the United States by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and in Hydropower. Our program focuses on improving resiliency, sustainability and safety of communities as dams, levees and flood control systems are upgraded to adapt to climate change, provide more efficient renewable power and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems.
Responsibilities
Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in HDR’s dam, levee and flood resilience programs.
Serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders with expertise and interest in working on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects. Expertise in potential failure mode analysis is a growing need.
Collaborate across HDR locations and with clients; HDR supports relocation or remote work as appropriate.
Contribute to design, analysis, risk assessment and project management for dam, levee and flood resilience initiatives.
Qualifications
Civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineers with interest/experience in dam, levee and flood resilience projects.
Experience as an engineer of record, group manager or technical practice leader is desirable.
Strong PFMA (potential failure mode analysis) expertise is a growing need.
