What We’re Doing Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. The Work The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests. The System Test Data Manager is responsible for the collection, processing, delivery, and integrity of all test event data. Data is retrieved from testbeds and labs, as well as the operational environment. The Data Manager is also responsible for: Handling real-world event (RWE) data requests Satisfying analysts’ requests for “truth” data Managing server and NAS disk space Archiving data per System Test processes Coordinating with FFRDC and Contractor analysts, Execution Leads, System Integrators, program leadership, and Government customer Generating data processing/delivery status reports Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program Python or Java experience Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program Other Important Information
