Phoenix, AZ | Surrounding Metro A nationally ranked ENR contractor is hiring an M&E Project Manager to lead large-scale mission-critical and data center builds in the Phoenix area. This market has quickly become one of the hottest regions in the U.S. for data center growth, with major hyperscale clients investing heavily in new facilities. Responsibilities Manage the full mechanical and electrical scope from design through commissioning Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and procurement for major systems and equipment Lead QA/QC efforts, punch lists, and weekly field coordination meetings Track and manage critical equipment logistics, including delivery schedules and start-ups Partner with owners, engineers, and commissioning teams to align with project goals and timelines Monitor safety across site operations and resolve risks quickly Maintain documentation including project schedules, procurement logs, cost reports, and closeout deliverables Qualifications 5+ years of M&E project management, design, or commissioning experience on mission-critical or large industrial projects Hands-on knowledge of critical systems including UPS, switchgear, generators, chillers, and CRAC/CRAH units Familiarity with redundancy designs (N+1, 2N) and commissioning levels (1–5, IST) Experience with design-build and GMP delivery methods; proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar MEP budgets Strong background in contracts, change orders, and pay applications Proficiency with Procore, BIM360, Bluebeam, and MS Project OSHA 30 required; PMP, PE, or LEED AP certifications preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted What’s Offered Be part of high-profile data center builds in one of the fastest-growing U.S. markets Compensation: $135,000 – $165,000 base + 10% bonus + full benefits Career path with a contractor nationally recognized for mission-critical excellence Medical insurance, Vision insurance, 401(k), Pension plan, Tuition assistance, Student loan assistance, Disability insurance, Paid maternity leave, Paid paternity leave
