Job Description
As a
Security Professional - Hotel Site Access Control
in
Vinton, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. This is a Part-Time position that uses Allied Universal’s scheduling platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, offering flexibility to build a schedule that fits your needs. You will help deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property, while delivering exceptional customer service to guests and staff.
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals in accordance with location policies and procedures Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel, casino, racetrack, and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity Assist with the identification and reporting of suspicious persons, activities, or items within the location Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for guests and visitors

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
