The

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of Nuclear Medicine studies, with a focus on radiation safety and proper documentation. The role involves effective communication with vendors, customers, and radiologists, and may include training new technologists and Patient Coordinators.

Responsibilities include:

Producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring radiation safety and proper documentation.

Ensuring patient safety through pre-screening and aseptic injection techniques.

Communicating effectively with customers and radiologists.

Training new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as needed.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.

NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.

State license, CPR certification, and valid driver’s license as applicable.

Ability to work at multiple locations and travel locally.

Strong customer service, organizational, and computer skills.

COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.

Physical Requirements: Exposure to outside weather, radioactive isotopes, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and moving non-ambulatory patients.
