Job Description: As an emergency room nurse (RN ER), you will be the first line of defense for patients who require urgent medical care. You will assess patients who are suffering from trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions, provide necessary care, monitor health conditions, administer medications, and use medical equipment. Once the patient is stabilized, you will determine whether the patient should be discharged or require a longer hospital stay.
Responsibilities As an ER nurse, you will:
Assess patient condition quickly and determine appropriate care
Administer medications and monitor vital signs
Operate and utilize medical equipment in emergency settings
Stabilize patients and determine disposition (discharge or admission)
Minimum requirements
At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in emergency/ER or related specialty
Active RN license
