Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Answer RFQs for material either through the appropriate salesperson or directly to customer

Assist in managing inventory of teardown airframe/engines to ensure timely receipt of material into stock, appropriate material drop-shipped for repair and work order closed in a reasonable amount of time

Recommend units to be sent out for repair based on market research and quote history

Analyze market pricing, operator demand, and repair costs to set a competitive price point for material

Source material from vendors in order to offer material not in inventory or not in the proper condition required by customer

Contact vendors to collect market data for pricing/brokering purposes

Assist in developing targeted push lists of material based on customers past quote and purchasing history

Negotiate with customers and vendors to realize the maximum value from material given market factors such as scarcity, configuration, repair type, market pricing, and competition

Provide backup for sales and other product lines when needed

Education And Experience

High school diploma is required, Associates degree is preferred

Previous experience in the airline industry is preferred

Skills And Abilities

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Must be able to function as a member of the team

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must be efficient with a desire to succeed

Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
