We are hiring for a Relationship Banker who serves as a trusted advisor to customers, focusing on building strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding their financial needs and goals. This role involves providing tailored solutions for banking, lending and investment products while delivering exceptional customer service. You will proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities for cross-selling, resolve issues, and educate them on digital banking tools. You will collaborate with team members to drive branch sales targets and contribute to the bank’s growth while enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and cross-selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Proactively prospect for new clients through internal and outbound interactions (networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, community engagement).
Address financial needs including transactional, servicing, and product requirements.
Deliver an elevated customer experience with personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions.
Engage customers through digital platforms and educate them on self-service options.
Communicate clearly with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive performance.
Responsibilities may extend to supporting nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent; preferred fields include Business Management, Finance or related.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent through work experience, training, military service, or education (preferred).
3+ years selling products/services in an incentive-based environment or 12+ months in related retail banking sales/financial services sales roles with demonstrated success (required).
12+ months Santander-related experience in essential functions (required).
12+ months customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (required).
Established relationship-building skills focused on customer experience and loyalty.
Excellent customer service, communication, and consultative skills; ability to work in a team.
Proficiency with digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
Ability to work flexible branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Certifications

Established work history or equivalent demonstrated by experience or education.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
What Else You Need To Know The base pay range is posted below and represents the annualized salary. For hourly positions, the range is based on a 40-hour work week. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, licensure and location.
Base Pay Range
Minimum: $38,250.00 USD
Maximum: $59,000.00 USD
