Finance Manager

coordinates all activities regarding finance and insurance for our valued customers, including helping customers obtain financing, preparing all associated documentation, and selling extended service contracts and additional protection products. He or she ensures all deals are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with legal requirements and dealership policies. Responsibilities include preparing and verifying legal documents, selling products and services to new and used vehicle customers, and enhancing the customer experience while maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance or a related field and has three or more years of finance and insurance experience. Key qualities include a positive attitude, confident and outgoing personality, professional appearance, strong business acumen and sales skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering world-class customer service. Offer vehicle financing and insurance, explaining aftermarket products and warranties, and outlining manufacturer and dealership service procedures. Assist customers in obtaining financing through lenders, complying with legal standards. Present transparent financing options and products to enhance the vehicle ownership experience. Prepare state and federal documents related to vehicle purchases accurately and promptly. Maintain good relationships with lending institutions to secure favorable interest rates and programs. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure all sales are referred to the F&I department and that they understand the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service offerings. Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Greet clients effectively, facilitating a smooth transition from Sales to Finance. Determine clients' financing needs through professional interviews. Educate clients on their options and assist in making informed decisions. Process finance transactions, including obtaining lender approval and funding. Handle administrative processes timely and in line with company policies. Ensure client satisfaction in every transaction and address issues immediately to provide an exceptional experience. Achieve targeted sales and customer satisfaction goals; performance is measured accordingly. Preferably have 3-4+ years of automotive finance experience; willing to train the right candidate. Prior sales experience is a plus but not required. Proven ability to deliver exceptional client experiences and meet goals. Experience with Advent and Tekion systems is preferred. Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic. Be a self-starter and self-motivator. Exhibit excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, maintaining composure under stress. Possess strong interpersonal skills for professional interactions. Be well-organized, able to multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Have strong math skills and proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer satisfaction skills. Be detail-oriented and well-organized. Experience with General Motors systems is a plus.
