Overview

Associate Director, Procurement, Secondary Data & Analytics role at Bristol Myers Squibb. The role focuses on developing a Category Strategy for enterprise Secondary Data (e.g., sales data, claims data, health care data, and real-world data) and Analytics Services (including advanced decision analytics and artificial intelligence) to define the enterprise sourcing strategy. The role requires alignment with business priorities and functional objectives, and oversight of category strategies by cross-functional and market teams. The position involves developing, maintaining and implementing a multi-year strategic plan (3-year) that aligns with company and business unit priorities and executes sourcing initiatives to drive maximum value. It includes end-to-end category strategy execution, data governance, compliance, and supplier management to support BI&T and Commercial functions. Major Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Strategic Business Partnering & Category Strategy Development Partner with Business Insights & Technology (BI&T) and Commercial functions to manage data sources (National/Subnational, Spec Pharm, Claims, Customer Master, VAP, and other data sources); develop data stewardship practices to ensure data quality, integrity and regulatory compliance. Subject matter expert for Data & Analytics categories. Establish a global matrix team with clear roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment across business leads. Develop, maintain and implement a 3-5-year strategic plan and lead major category initiatives, including end-to-end process optimization, make/buy analysis and recommendations to Business partner teams. Define buying channels and purchasing policies to drive compliance with a user-centric approach. Develop and maintain self-service processes and frameworks for purchases against preferred suppliers and rate cards. Support data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. Supplier Management Foster collaborative relationships with strategic global/regional suppliers via category and supplier segmentation, metrics/KPI development, scorecards, and contract management. Develop a list of preferred suppliers within a category and manage compliance. Support Supplier Development to build a pipeline of new and potential supplier partners. Facilitate continuous improvement and innovation to help BI&T, Commercial, category and functional leads achieve strategic objectives. Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS required (quantitative area preferred); MBA or other graduate degree preferred. Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a Secondary Data related role or in a Procurement function. Knowledge of change management and ability to execute change strategies. Experience leading and participating on cross-functional/global teams. Stakeholder management, data/information management, continuous improvement, and project management skills. Procurement process knowledge, agreement management, financial and market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management, and procurement technologies. Experience in data acquisition and management to solve business challenges and provide insights is preferred. The compensation overview for this role includes a Tampa, FL range of $161,250 - $195,391, with additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (where eligible).
