Associate Director, US Commercialization Analytics, Neuroscience
Location: Princeton, NJ (onsite/hybrid considerations may apply). This role is for a senior analytics leader within the US COBENFY Brand Lead team, focused on commercialization analytics, forecasting, market research, and insights to drive brand performance in neuroscience.
Overview Engage as a key thought partner and trusted advisor to the SVP, US COBENFY Brand Lead and their team. Serve as an active member of the USCOBENFY Commercial extended leadership team and lead the BI&T book-of-work for COBENFY with a focus on forecasting, market research, and analytics.
Responsibilities
Engage as a key thought partner and trusted advisor to the SVP, US COBENFY Brand Lead and their team; participate as an active member of the USCOBENFY Commercial extended leadership team.
Provide oversight to the full BI&T integrated book-of-work (forecasting, market research, analytics) for COBENFY; prioritize trade-offs according to business priorities; coach and develop the team to deliver best-in-class functional deliverables.
Establish aspirational yet defendable revenue expectations for COBENFY; ensure transparency around business risks & opportunities and identify actionable levers to activate upside Commercial potential.
Embed BI&T capabilities into business decision-making to influence pull-through and action on the business for greater Commercial success; deliver with urgency, agility, innovation and integrity.
Partner with US Commercial BI&T counterparts, Central Capability Teams, and Commercial BI&T LT to deliver integrated insights with market research; engage with executive stakeholders on annual strategic plans, long-term financial plans, development milestones, brand plans and budgets, updated projections, and local market performance.
Stakeholder Partnership
Provide day-to-day strategic guidance and support to US COBENFY Commercial leadership to maximize Commercial potential.
Develop BI&T plans and budgets aligned to business needs; identify knowledge gaps, shape analytics questions, and continuously reevaluate priorities to drive the business forward.
Generate and defend revenue scenarios in support of budgets and projections; understand drivers of Commercial performance.
Deliver timely customer-centric insights and market perspectives that unlock growth and influence actions to bring more medicines to patients faster.
Collaborate with BI&T, Commercial and Finance LT members to shape internal/external narratives for quarterly earnings calls, investor events, and other external communications.
Team Leadership and Functional Expertise
Support transformation to the One BI&T delivery and operating model; ensure coordination across business-facing teams, Central Capability Teams, and Hyderabad office.
Lead forecasting, secondary analytics, and market research methodologies; coach on analytics solutions addressing complex business issues; ensure quality and integration of insights.
Provide coaching to develop forecasting, analytics, and market research expertise; build technical capability, therapy-area knowledge, business acumen, and communication skills.
Develop talent, manage career growth, and sustain engagement within BI&T and/or Commercial paths; role model BMS values and operating policies.
Experience and Qualifications
Strong market research experience with a high degree of independence.
BA/BS required; MBA or MS/MA preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceuticals across multiple therapeutic areas.
Prior strategy/consulting experience.
Competencies / Skills
Ability to influence Commercial decisions across diverse contexts (US, Global, International) and lifecycle stages.
Mastery of advanced market research methods and analytics/forecasting tools; proficiency with related software and models.
Strong leadership and talent development experience; ability to drive transformation and cultural maturity.
Collaborative, with demonstrated effectiveness in a global, matrix organization; excellent communication and executive presence.
Ability to innovate, operate with agility, and uphold integrity and inclusion.
