What You’ll Do:
Provide targeted, specialized academic instruction to students with learning differences and special needs in elementary or middle school settings Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring services align with each student’s IEP goals and timelines Lead IEP meetings, write compliant IEPs, and collaborate with service providers, parents, and district teams Administer and interpret standardized assessments to track progress and drive instructional planning Adapt and modify curriculum to support student learning and inclusion across co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-to-one models Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, evaluations, and service logs Partner with general education teachers to create differentiated instruction and promote meaningful inclusion What We’re Looking For: Required:
Active California Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (CTC) Availability for in-person services in Richmond, CA Strong knowledge of Special Education law, policy, and instructional best practices Preferred: 1+ years of Special Education teaching experience Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills and a positive, student-centered approach Tech-savvy with strong organizational skills Perks & Benefits:
