High Country Drapery Designs . Location: Atlanta, GA. Office / Showroom + in-home client consultations. This is a full-time opportunity within a luxury window treatments company known for artistry, precision, and personalized service. The role involves guiding clients through a consultative process from inspiration to installation, delivering high-end window solutions and driving profitable revenue through exceptional service and design expertise. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, interior designers, and trade partners. Conduct in-showroom and in-home consultations to understand client goals, aesthetics, functional needs, and budgets. Present curated style options and design concepts using strong product knowledge and design sensibility. Accurately measure windows, assess architectural details, and translate client needs into precise specifications. Provide clear proposals, quotes, and product selections (good / better / premium alternatives). Educate clients on product construction, fabrics, hardware, motorization, control systems, and maintenance. Collaborate with operations, installation, and production teams to ensure accuracy and flawless execution. Track project details via CRM and order management systems; follow up for repeat business, upsells, and referrals. Stay current on design trends, fabrics, hardware, and technology-driven motorization systems. Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales, margin, and conversion goals. Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years in consultative or in-home sales within home décor, luxury furnishings, window coverings, or interior design. Experience in cabinetry, carpet/flooring, or custom millwork is a plus. Formal education in interior design, decorative arts, architecture, or related field is preferred but not required. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in high-ticket, custom environments. Strong design sensibility and ability to guide clients visually (color, texture, scale, proportion). Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills; ability to translate technical features into client benefits. Ability to read plans, elevations, and architectural drawings is a plus but not required. Proficiency in precise measuring tools (tape and laser) and CRM/quoting software; ability to manage pipelines and follow-ups. Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Reliable transportation for client appointments and site visits; flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, or regional travel as needed. Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. Potential for commissions and bonuses; top performers may exceed base range. $6,000 sign-on bonus (paid $3,000 within 30 days and $3,000 after 60 days). Quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Training and development with top window treatment designers. Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and public holidays.
