This position offers an opportunity to work as a School Psychologist within a vibrant K-12 educational setting in New Orleans, LA. The role is a contract position for the full school year, providing vital psychological support and services to students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and support academic and social-emotional development. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to students. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success. Assist in crisis intervention and develop strategies to promote a positive school climate. Desired Qualifications
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in K-12 educational environments. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
